T-2 sleeps

Busy busy day, the house looks clean and tidy, wont stay that way for long!!

done our on line check in, weighed the bags again!! just about done......

Anne has 2 weddings tomorrow then its all over and were out here......

T- 3 sleeps

the excitment is mounting, went to the bank to get Egyptian pounds and Israeli sheckles.......along with euros, british pounds and american dollars....

the lists are actually getting shorter, lawn mowed tick, fridge cleaned tick, linen cupboard sort off....

so the adventure is really starting to feel real....woohoo here we go..........

T-4

Another day closer and the to do lists seem to be getting longer rather than shorter........

Mowed the back lawn and tidied around the back and front of the house.....cleaned out the fridge and threw out the odd looking things that no one knows what they are........


Had lunch with my daughter, son-in-law and grumpy grandson!!

sorted out all the travel books that need to go back to the library and am trying to condense the list of things to see and do......

sorted out maps last night and drew up extra information on post it notes.....

time for a bath and early bed

T=5 sleeps...

take 2 as they say in the movies.....

seems I made a stuff up with the technology and was unable to access the site to add anymore information so lets start again..........

we resolved the train problem, found a website for the local trains and after working them out in german (as you loose alot in the translation!) and we have train tickets from Salzburg to Frankfurt, a 6 hour trip, for less than a 100 euros for the 2 of us.

bags packed although there is some last minute books to shove in....

time to check things off the lists..
